Stopping, she crouched down to fix whatever was wrong with her shoe. She didn’t know exactly where in the city she was- unfamiliar buildings and landmarks. Her senses tingling, she could tell something was not right. Hearing the footsteps coming up behind her, she waited until the figure was close enough. Eventually snatching up a piece of tree branch the size of her arm and pointing it at the person in front of her. “Who are you?”
